Why dust is dangerous​

• Large particles are major eye and skin irritants, including causing conjunctivitis and increasing the susceptibility to ocular infection.
• Smaller inhalable particles, those under PM10, get trapped in the nose, mouth and upper respiratory tract, leading to conditions like asthma, tracheitis, pneumonia, allergic rhinitis and silicosis.
• The finest particles, known as PM2.5 (less than 2.5 micrometers in diameter), get deep into the lungs and enter the bloodstream. Here, they can affect all internal organs and lead to cardiovascular disorders.
• Particle sizes over 10 micrometers in size (PM10) can stay in the air for hours, particulate matter under 2.5 micrometers (PM2.5) can stay in the air for more than 10 days.

Road Stabilization

ROAD//STABILIZR®
A long-term solution for stabilizing roads that require continual maintenance. ROAD//STABILIZR® targets soils with high clay content by increasing density and providing enhanced stability. Additional benefits include reduced swell and permeability, and increased CBR (California Bearing Ratio) values.
